The Return to Johnny Behind the Rocks Night Ride Kickoff

The legend returns to its roots! Before the Jurassic Classic moved its main hub, the red dirt of Johnny Behind the Rocks was the heart and soul of the festival. This year, we’re bringing the event back to where it all began for an exhilarating evening of night riding. As the high-desert sun dips below the horizon, JBR transforms. We’re trading the midday heat for cool breezes, long shadows, and the thrill of the "tunnel vision" flow. Whether you’re a JBR veteran or a newcomer looking to experience Lander’s most iconic terrain under the stars, this is the perfect way to kick off your Jurassic Classic weekend. Followed up by the traditional late night burgers and brat grill-out sponsored by The Rock Shop Inn.
